Designed by CDA, the C-Pills is a semi-automatic counting machine engineered to meet the specific needs of the pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, animal health, and food supplement industries. Built from high-grade materials such as mirror-polished stainless steel, glass, and food-safe POM-C plastic, it ensures both hygiene and durability.
The counting process begins with a vibrating hopper that delivers a continuous flow of capsules or coated tablets onto a rotating glass disc. Guided precisely around the disc’s perimeter by positioning rails, the products are then directed into a counting channel. Here, a laser curtain detects and counts each unit with remarkable accuracy, thanks to the carefully managed spacing between products.
The C-Pills can process up to 1,000 capsules or tablets per minute (size 0), offering maximum productivity while maintaining a 99.99% counting accuracy.
The machine is also easy to use, with all functions controlled via an intuitive touchscreen interface, making it a reliable and user-friendly solution for production environments with high quality and traceability standards.
