The WALTER KWR automatic cutter trolley cleaning system is designed to make cleaning processes in food production faster, more efficient and more flexible. Suitable for 200-litre and 300-litre charging trolleys in accordance with DIN 9797, the compact system can be integrated close to the production process, helping to reduce transport distances, manual effort and unnecessary waiting times.
Instead of transporting soiled trolleys over long distances to a central washing area, the KWR enables cleaning closer to where the trolleys are actually used. This can significantly improve internal workflows and help reduce the number of trolleys required in circulation. Depending on the individual production environment and process, the system can clean up to 30 trolleys per hour, contribute to a reduction of up to 30% in the number of cutter trolleys in production circulation and free up to 12 m² of valuable production space.
The KWR combines powerful automated cleaning with a compact and practical design. The trolley is positioned in the system and cleaned using a frequency-controlled rotating nozzle system. Depending on the selected configuration, cleaning can be carried out with pressurised water and optional cleaning chemicals. A removable sieve insert and wastewater connection support clean and controlled operation in demanding production environments.
The system is available in different configurations to match individual production requirements. It can be supplied as a stand-alone solution with an integrated pump unit for internal and external cleaning or connected to an existing external pressure boosting system. This flexibility makes the KWR suitable both for new installations and for integration into existing cleaning infrastructures.
An optional chemical dosing system for one cleaning agent is available. For additional flexibility, the KWR can also be equipped with a hand lance for external cleaning and, on request, an additional foam injector. The swivel arm can be conveniently moved into its parking position at the push of a button, supporting practical and efficient handling in daily operation.
More than just a trolley cleaning system, the WALTER KWR can also be used as a fully functional medium-pressure cleaning solution. Depending on the configuration, it can supply up to two hand lance workstations simultaneously, helping to expand existing cleaning capacity and making the system a versatile solution for different cleaning tasks within the production environment.
