The Linx 9940 Spectrum is a Continuous Ink Jet (CIJ) printer specifically designed for high-contrast pigmented coding on dark substrates and demanding industrial applications. Using high-opacity pigmented inks, it delivers clear, durable and highly visible codes on materials such as cables, extruded plastics, glass, metal and other challenging surfaces.
Capable of printing up to 6 lines of text at speeds of up to 9.1 m/s, the Linx 9940 Spectrum combines outstanding performance with exceptional reliability. Its IP65-rated enclosure makes it suitable for dusty and washdown environments, while its advanced pigment mixing system and filtration technology ensure consistent print quality and minimise the risk of nozzle blockages.
Compatible with PrintProtect®, PrinterNet® and advanced automatic printhead cleaning features, the Linx 9940 Spectrum helps reduce maintenance requirements and maximise production uptime. It can be powered down for up to one month without flushing or draining before restarting immediately, making it an ideal solution for cable, extrusion, food, beverage and general manufacturing applications requiring high-visibility coding.
